Rickus Jacobs earns place on Team Hawaii by winning King’s Runner 10k
Rickus Jacobs won the sold out King’s Runner 10k on March 3 and earned a place representing Team Hawaii in the Chase at the Hapalua.
Jacobs crossed the line in 31:50, beating Ryan Tsang who came in second in 31:58. Both men will compete at the Hapalua – Hawaii’s Half Marathon in The Chase.
The Chase sees the 24 best runners based in Hawaii race against invited professionals. The runners on Team Hawaii get head starts based on their current form, and are chased down by the professionals. The first to cross the line, male or female, wins and takes home the $5000 first prize.
An $11,000 prize purse is up for grabs. First across the line is the winner!
